SBC's Last Dance (when we were setting up)

whEee junior year is over! i think i'm excited about that than the fact that next yr is senior yr. jr yr was pretty killer like everyone says but it's also been fun. my grades totally suffered but i must say that i had some of the best teachers everrrr, i.e. mr shimmon. how can you not love that guy? hes so amazing. well long awaited summer is (...was) finally here! my brother finally graduated from wpl after 9 yrs...

my sorry attempt at making gummy worm leis. took me half an hr to do oNe of them that half started falling apart. good thing sophia came over to help...that's when they started looking more like they were s'posed to. i have no idea how jasmine does it LoL

it was also great seeing my fellow wpl '03 graduates. OH THREE fishO. taking so many pictures reminded mE of OUR graduation week, constantly seeing a green blob from all those flashes. good times...

so the next day i woke up super early to go to my aunt's church retreat, where i was helping out as assistant in the children's program. i must admit that i didn't really want to go b.c. i didn't know anyone and it was the weekend after my last day of school, and who wants to be working then? but it turned out to be really fun. i shared a cabin with some other girls and even though we just met it seemed like we knew each other for a while. the retreat site was super huge w. volleyball nets, basketball court, swimming pool, etc. and there was this huge building in the actual shape of an ark (yakno...noah's ark) and it was so cool! there were 2 other retreats taking place at the same time and we saw tyson (sp?) from Beauty and the Geek! the asian super rubiks cube guy! lol and the kids were cute, too. the first night we stayed out later and got to our cabin and started singing praise songs w. the guitar at lyk 1 in the morning. the next night we snuck out to make noodles LOL ohh man that was fun. quote of the trip: "if you want us to stop please just tell us! oh Lord Jesus...God is so good..." HHHHHAHAHAHAHAHA oh beCCa you're so awesome lol

i would put more pictures here of my and jen's parties but i apparently reached some xanga upload limit that i didn't know existed...so next time! lol

so this summer haven't been doing much...sleepnig at 3, waking up at noon, just lazing around and relaxing, watching movies and stuff (Click was so good! go watch it!) volunteering at ucsf with the cute kiddies from 2 yrs ago (!!), and shopping a lot. went to gilroy and napa. ohh i love the weather there its so sunny and warm. i hope the nice sf weather continues. starting my job at kumon this thursday...eeeek. i have my list of summer goals. now all i have to do is accomplish them, unlike last summer where i checked off like...none haha. well i had a great kickoff to summer and i hope you did too! CIAO! [ohhhh yeah GO ITALY! i felt so happy for them when they won the world cup. yAyyyyyy]

hRrmmm im kinda tired, but yet a tad bit hyper at the same time. here is a post of my week for you to enjoy while i wait for jacky kwong to finish our psychology project report so i can make the powerpoint presentation for it...brace yourself b.c. this is gonna be a long one lol

so last weekend i had practically the most homework test project load i have ever had in my whole entire life. crazy stuff...so on sunday i met w. jacky jasmine and victor to do our apush project and well...we didn't get much done with us looking around jasmine's artsy house, jacky and victor constantly "fighting" and eating and us talking about everything OTHER than our project. but during this time wasted, i found out that me and jacky kwong share the same taste in music, like we're both in love with savage garden's songs. WOW i was a bit surprised...not many people like the kind of music i like and dislike what i dislike haha too bad me and him can't share the same GRADES too, huh? haha so that day i basically slept at 4 doing my german fairy tale book. ughhh i'm gonna die next yr in ap german.

so all my finals were on monday and tuesday with the seniors, and every final taken seemed to take some weight off my shoulders. wednesday's apush project done felt the best of all. we did okay on it, except that guitar lady sub had to be mean and tell our teacher that we went WAAYY over time when it was PERFECT so that he docked us points. gosh i hope she gets like..STUCK in a guitar or something... if she was the one that caused me to get a C in that class i woulda pronounced her my sworn enemy haha jk. and plus i don't have to b.c. on friday mr schwarz showed me that i got an 81% in the class!!! i had a C all semester and the project boosted me up to a B. YAYYYYY it was the best day of my life, but not. hahaha

on thursday justin got to my house and we bussed (YES BUSSED! haha) it to ucsf for my "interview" for what depts im gonna be volunteering in during the summer. then justin made me walk to jamba juice on irving. i was very tired =( hahahahaha then we just walked around waiting for stores/restaurants to open and for lunch we went to pluto's. that place is cool haha iv always heard about it but nvr been. so then we went back to school and sold dance tickets and then ceramics to clean up and say goodbye to my ms janssen. aww im gonna miss her shes sooo nice

friday was SBC's Last Dance "That's All, Folks!" that morning we had 200 sold tickets and that scared the crap out of me, esp since we had lots of things to pay for, including dean cordoba's 10 security guards. so bracing myself for the worst b.c. he can be quite intimidating. so i told him that we did not need, nor could we afford to have 10 sec guard with our only 200 sales. he usually gets irritatey-ish but he was cool about it and dropped it down to 7! YEAHHH accomplishment for the day hahah and then at the end of the day we had over 700 people coming hAHAHAh so much for telling him that nobody was coming to the dance. the bounce house thing was cool and seemed to be quite the attraction with the guys, esp the ones who almost knocked it over haha. and the cotton candy machine ohhhh mann cotton candy flying everywhere and gettting in my hair and WOW IT WAS FUN haha too bad my machine goes so slow...i would love to own one of those professional ones. i had to leave at 7.45 for a dinner and i was so sad...b.c. i really really wanted to stay the whole time for our last dance...and i also realized that i'm really going to miss gov't. it has been such a great 2 yrssss and im also gonna miss the seniors =( well anyhow it was really fun bonding with new and old sbc and the snr prom committee and taking funny weird pictures hahah

sat morning woke up to take a test at kumon for a job. some parts of that test weres so easy that i got stuck on them wondering if it was trying to trick me. it took me FIFTEEN MINUTES to take that dumb stupid test ughhh if i get rejected from kumon i'm going to die lol then it was also the day of my brother's bday party so ppl came over and it was fun, except i was sleepy all day. BUT OH MY, at night my cousins and brother and me watched HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL. my first time after hearing everyone talk about it and AHHHH IT WAS GREAT! i mean it was really corny but i LOVED it nevertheless. after the movie we watched the bonus stuff and then put it on singalong mode and fast forwarded to all the songs we liked. it was seriously AWESOME. i fell in love with the movie lol

annnd so today (or yesterday) sunday, was my brother's baculoreate (sp?) church service for graduation. it was definitely cool seeing some of my fellow wpl '03 graduates and it was fun talking to them. so many good memories at wpl. then afterwards went to stonestown for our psych experiment. basically we were testing subliminal messages and whether or not they affect our thoughts or opinions. so i was the one going up to people saying "hi, excuse me i was wondering if you could help us in a study that we're doing. it'll take like 5 seconds" and we werent lying - it only takes 5 seconds, mb not even. but jeez i nvr really realized til now how busy and unwilling people are to help. i mean honestly, FIVE seconds and you would not believe how many people couldn't even do that. i got rejected probably over fifty times today. i mean, is that even poSsibLE? i would understand being scared at some random person coming to talk to you at a mall, but im like the most non-threatening creature ever! (hahaahaha or so i think?) and then we went up to this guy going like -5 miles per hour walking speed and we went to ask him if he could help us and he said he was in a hurry HAHAHHA then this one teeny bopper saw the picture we wer testing and was lyk "dang..she hurt" like wow thats not very nice haha and we werent even asking her..and she looked at the picture for 1 second. people who think they're the crap annoy me. and THEN there were these 2 asian gangsterly guys in their puffy black jackets and i went up to them and they stopped and after i asked them, one of them gives me this look and goes "nnoOooO" i was lyk WHAT THE FREAK he said it in such a rude mean way, like why the hell would i wanna help you guys-way. and some people couldn't even take the time to stop and listen to me. i practically had to chase after them to finish my sentence. this is what i dont like about cities, so hustle bustle, which is also why i would like to go to college in a calmer, more peaceful, chiller area. it amazes me how people cant take a little bit of time to help others. this says way too much about SFers...

so now, one more psych presentation 2m and i am done with my classes for this year. whEEeee another post next time to recap on my junior year. hopefully this week is filled with sunny weather =) have a great week everyone!

wOw what a greeeaatt week! let's start on monday, shall we?

so yes, monday may 22, i turned 17! i really like that number. why is is sweet SIXTEEN, not SEVENTTEN? 17 is so much cooler. sooo at 4/5 j seto tells me she totally forgot my birthday, which i knew was a lie. my soul mate/locker buddy/pandora buddy/chinese school buddy forgetting my birthday? no way! hahaha what a liar so we g2 our locker afterwards and it is ghetto-ly wrapped but i still liked it thank you! hahaha and she got me a purple chucks keychain (which i couldnt resist to show off) which is now on my purple pandora backpack. haha and tHEn being the nerd i am during reg i tell jess to test her brain age, but she couldnt cuz she "had to go to her friend's reg for 5 minutes". n then kris comes in and gives me cupcakes and 2 cakes (THANK YOU!) and while im looking at the pretty sprinkles who comes in?? all you wondeful people! n then i see sharon with her guitar and that got me excited. i mean, SHARON + GUITAR, how can u NOT be excited? LoL n then they sang this to me:

ahhh it was so cute and so funny hahaha but then my guitar lady sub kind of attacked sharon and wouldnt let her go, and that wasnt very cute oR funny. boo her. and then mister chris joe was such a sweetie awww thank you for your fatty hug and the jamba card. yay friday jamba runs! haha so i made a list of my favorite foods and my dad made them for me for dinner yummy and my gramma came over and i had cheesecake. whooott and then sophia called and was lyk "oh yea happy birthday! i didnt get to talk to you much today at school. where are you?" n wen i said oh im at home, she goes "okay then open the door" *DING DONG* HAHAHAH this is the 2nd time she's actually come over to deliver me my present hahaha its so thoughtful THANK YOU SOPHIA! and thanks jess for your present-a-day..it's like my birthday lasted all week and i love it =) and thank you CRISPAY dear for putting together that little reg thing and your awesome xanga post! haha and finally, last but dEf not least, thanks to all of your IMs/texts/calls it means a lot that u remembered!

annnyways wed was the 3rd annual SAC youth summit. my 2nd yr going, and it was kinda funny. amanda being nerdy about apush, spending time w. lowell kiDDos, mEEsh asking guys for numbers AhAhhaHA silly girl, and the crazy hypnotist guy who didnt really hypnotize the ppl. me and becca were dying of boredom. o well got to miss one day of school, so i think its worth it ;) LoL and TAYLOR HICKS won! HAHAHA soooo funny everyone was really pissed and upset, but i'm cool with it. i mean, i think mCPHEEver is more a. idol material, but it's kinda cool that "america" voted for the guy with the crazy upbeat personality over the one spencer puts it as "being marketable". maybe our country is being less shallow. or maybe the whole thing is rigged, anyway lol

so over the weekend i went to STOCKTON to my cousin's house and we had a bbq and it was fun. the weather was really nice and my cousin's kids are so adorable. great to have that vacationy feel.

and now here i am, paying for the results of a weekend spent NOT doing homework. projects, finals, more projects....16 days til summer and i am VERY MUCH looking forward to it. happy june =) haha
